Think of the people who attract you; they are probably physically fit, confident, and they care about others. People are attracted to people with these characteristics rather than people who do not keep themselves in shape, who are needy and sullen, and who only care about themselves.
In order for you to attract people into your life, and into your business, you need to start getting into shape. Does this mean you have to start training for the Olympics? No, of course not, but you have to start dropping those extra pounds and make time to work out in the gym on a regular basis.
Are you less than confident in public? If so, you can take steps so that you will appear more sure about yourself.
Realize this, all people that you see everyday experiences the same or similar fears you do. Speak to at least one person in public each day for the next month. This does not mean trying to sell someone on your business opportunity.
What does all this mean? It means that we live in a world where people are afraid to talk to each other. If you decide today to talk to one person in public, not counting a waiter or other type of service employee, each day for one month, your confidence level will go through the roof.
Do you care about other people or only about yourself? If you want people to join your sales team, you have to show them that you have a genuine interest in other people. When you ask people about how their week is going or if they enjoyed their vacation, and show a real interest in their answer, people will see that you are interested in more than turning sales but in them as individuals.
Many people would do better in the MLM business if they worked on their leadership skills. Become the type of person you would want to go into business with and you will have more success with your recruiting.
