A Princess Room For Her

Your little girl goes around the house pretending that she is a princess and she has a hard task of running the princess. As a parent you can create this fantasy in her room with a princess themed room.

The walls should be the first place to start. What color do you want to decorate the walls? The most common choice is pink but you may want to go with a different shade like pastel pink and lavender. Or even area rugs with deer on them or those that look like grass. You can add your personal touch by placing posters in a frame to hang on the wall. You may also accessorize with a magic slipper, tiaras, or a wand.

Don’t forget the dolls. There’s a whole variety of princess dolls you can choose from. Of course you will want to stick to her favorite princess characters. Fairy tale books with colorful covers are another great addition to the room. Line these up on the shelves for their aesthetic appeal, as well as to develop a liking of books in your little princess.

You may want to choose a princess castle bed. This can be her own fortress. You could make the castle bed yourself but you may want to purchase the bed instead. The store bought beds feature the towers that are also a storage unit. You could get a bunk bed instead. Use the top bunk for her bed and the bottom for her play area or study space.
